The Constitution NOT Foreign Interests Should Guide U.S. Foreign Policy

I agree with Doug that we have to many special interests guiding or influencing U.S. Foreign Policy. If individual Americans want to provide aid, comfort or other types of support for foreign causes, that's there business but the U.S. Government should only be guided in its decisions by the U.S. Constitution and strict U.S.

Special Interests and U.S. Foreign Policy

Doug does a good job of showing that we have to many special interests driving our foreign policy.  Individual Americans can and should if they so choose to support causes abroad but it shoud be the role of the Federal Government to only promote foreign policies that are both Constitutional and in our direct national interests.
